First of all, we would once again like to thank our wonderful hostess for having the 17 of us over for our playoffs. 8 Aardvarks, 6 Madoquas and 5 Zyzzyvas competed for division titles and (in the case of Madoqua and Zyzzyva) a spot in the next division.
In Aardvark, Evan won by virtue of a better spread, with Ma'or a close second. Incidentally, this was the 11th time Evan and Ma'or have taken 1st and 2nd together (in no particular order). But it was down to the last game, with any of 4 players (Evan, Ma'or, Raz, Gila) in the running for the #1 spot. In Madoqua, it was a real nail-biter, with 5 (!) in the running for 1st going into the final game - but Maxine triumphed, and earned her spot in Aardvark. Welcome back, Maxine! In Zyzzyva, the battle was between Marion and Charlotte going into the final round. But since Charlotte won the season and has already advanced into Madoqua, Marion had nothing to lose. But that wasn't enough for Marion, who won the playoffs and earned her spot in Madoqua. Welcome back, ladies.
